The answers to the questions companies ask us before booking.
What makes a wind tunnel a good team building activity?
Because nobody has ever flown. Your colleagues all start at the same level: none of them has experience, none of them has an advantage, and each goes through the same briefing, the same flight suit, the same apprehension before stepping in. For 1 hour 30, the usual roles in the company count for nothing.
What do the others do while a colleague is flying?
They watch, they film, they cheer. Each person gets their minute with the whole team looking at them — and comes out to applause.
Our team is very mixed: ages, profiles, physical conditions.
That is exactly what this activity absorbs best. It is open from the age of 4, accessible to people with reduced mobility, and requires no particular fitness and no experience. Nobody is left on the sidelines.
What is left after the event?
Images. A professional photo and video service is available as an option: each participant leaves with their own, and the team with a memory that circulates internally for a long time.
How much does a team building at LUXFLY cost?
From €49 per person on weekdays, all inclusive: briefing, equipment, instructor and flight.
There are fewer than 12 of us. What can we do?
Book for 12 people: the extra flights are shared between the participants who are there. Nothing is lost.
Does each participant need their own date?
No. The booking is made for the whole group at once: a single time slot, a single date, the whole team flies together. This package cannot be booked participant by participant.
Some of our colleagues do not want to fly.
They come along anyway. Watching their colleagues fly is free, from the spectator area or from the bar. Many change their minds once they see the first ones take off.
How much flight time does each participant get?
It is a 1 hour 30 activity with one turn in the wind tunnel per participant — 1 minute of flight per person in the €49 package.

In which languages is the briefing given?
French, English, German and Luxembourgish.
Can a colleague with reduced mobility fly?
Yes. The activity is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
A colleague has a medical restriction or is above the weight limit.
The maximum weight for flying is 120 kg, and a history of shoulder dislocation rules out flying. That person is still welcome: they join the group and watch the flights.
Can we arrange a meal or a social moment?
Yes. Catering is available on request, and there is a bar on site. Mention it in your quote request.
Can we work on site before or after the activity?
Yes. A meeting or seminar room can be booked. Ask for it when you request your quote.
Can we have the site to ourselves?
Yes, privatising the wind tunnel is possible. Ask us for a quote.
How do payment and invoicing work?
Payment is made at the time of booking. You then receive your invoice and your booking confirmation. For a tailored quote, write to sales@luxfly.eu.
Where is LUXFLY?
In Sterpenich, part of Arlon (Belgium), 300 m from the Luxembourg border and 15 minutes from Luxembourg City. Easy to reach from Thionville, Metz, Trier and the Saarland. Open Wednesday to Friday from 12 noon to 8 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm; closed Monday and Tuesday, except the first Monday of each month.
