  • Important: after a shoulder dislocation, you can only fly if the shoulder has been operated on and fixed (pins, hooks). Other shoulder surgery or a fracture does not prevent you from flying. Always tell your instructor.
  • Allow 1 hour 30 to 2 hours on site, welcome included. Please arrive 1 hour before your flight (your arrival time is on your booking confirmation).

Everything you need to know before you fly

The answers to the questions we are asked most often.

Do I need any experience to fly?

None. A full briefing comes before every flight and an instructor stays in the wind tunnel with you from start to finish. Most of our visitors are flying for the first time.

What is the minimum age?

From 4 years old. The activity is also accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Is there a maximum weight?

Yes, 120 kg.

When can I not fly?

After a shoulder dislocation, you can only fly if the shoulder has been operated on and fixed (pins, hooks). Other shoulder surgery or a fracture does not prevent you from flying. Always tell your instructor. Flying is not permitted after drinking alcohol or taking illicit substances.

How long does the experience last?

Allow 1 hour 30 to 2 hours on site in total: welcome, briefing, equipment and supervised flights. Please arrive 1 hour before your flight (your arrival time is on your booking confirmation).

What time should I arrive?

At the time shown on your booking. Welcome, briefing and kitting up are all included in the 1 hour 30 on site.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, casual clothing, jeans and trainers. The suit, helmet and protective gear are provided.

What is included in the price?

The briefing, all equipment, supervision by an instructor and your flights. The LUXFLEX package also includes a visit to the museum “The Art of Skydiving”. Photos, videos and the HighFly are available as options.

Can I give a flight as a gift?

Yes. Every package is available as a gift voucher, valid for 12 months from purchase.

What if I need to change my date?

Bookings are subject to strict cancellation rules. If your date is not certain, add the Flexibility option when you book.

Where is LUXFLY?

In Sterpenich, part of Arlon (Belgium), 300 m from the Luxembourg border and 15 minutes from Luxembourg City. Easy to reach from Thionville, Metz, Trier and the Saarland. Open Wednesday to Friday from 12 noon to 8 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm; closed Monday and Tuesday, except the first Monday of each month.

Frequently asked questions

Are 2 flights enough for a first time?

Yes: it is exactly what you need to feel it and understand the body position. But once in the tunnel, most flyers want more. If you already sense that, LUXFLEX starts at 4 flights and brings the price down to 25 € per flight.

Does the HighFly really make a difference?

It is our most-added option. On your last flight, the instructor takes you right to the top of the tunnel, faster. That is the moment people are still talking about on the way out. 15 €.

Why add photos and videos?

Because you will not be able to take them yourself: no phones in the flight chamber. Our shots are taken from outside with our own cameras, and you get them by private link after your flight. 15 € for photos, 15 € for videos.

Frequently asked questions

4, 6 or 8 flights: how do I choose?

With 4 flights you take off and hold the position. With 6 you start turning and moving on your own. With 8 you leave the tunnel actually flying — and that is where each flight drops to €25 instead of €30 on the 4-flight package. Most people who come back wish they had taken 8 the first time.

Which options are worth adding to a LUXFLEX package?

HighFly (€15) first: on your last flight the instructor takes you right to the top of the tunnel, faster. That is the moment everyone talks about afterwards. Then photos and video (€15 each): phones are not allowed inside the wind tunnel, so this is the only way to leave with images. The museum visit “The Art of Skydiving” is already included, worth €15.

I don’t have a date yet — can I buy now?

Yes, and we recommend it. Your package is valid for 12 months: buy today and pick your slot online whenever you like. We fly Wednesday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00 and weekends from 10:00 to 19:00. Weekend slots go fast, especially during the school holidays.
